Jimmie Meadors

On April 29, 2017 Jim Meadors joined his beloved wife Grace in Heaven.

Jim was born April 7, 1948 to Enic and Ruth Meadors in Arlington, TX. Jim served his country in the United States Air Force. He was honorably discharged November 1969. He met his wife of 22 years Grace in Presidio, TX. Jim and Grace along with his brother Bill and his family became missionaries to Mexico for 10 years. They traveled all over Mexico spreading their love for Jesus and bringing others to him. Jim loved his nephews like they were his own sons.

Jim is preceded in death by his beloved wife Grace Meadors, his parents, Enic and Ruth Meadors, his brother Bill Meadors, his sister Helen Webb and his nephew Nathan Meadors.

Those left to cherish him are his brother Louis Meadors of DeSoto, TX; nephews Anthony Meadors and his wife, Tywilla and sons Forrest and Hunter of Odessa, Judson Meadors and his wife Noe, daughters, Elizabeth, Donya, Temperance and son, Zachariah of Odessa, Curtis Meadors of Arlington, TX, Michael Meadors and his wife Kimberly of Indiana; niece Debbie Craker, daughter Tabitha, son Josh of DeSoto, TX; sister in-law Phyllis Meadors of Rankin, TX and many more family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 7:00-8:00 pm, Monday, May 8, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

A celebration of his life will be at 4:00 pm, Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Meadors, Forrest Meadors, Hunter Meadors, Judson Meadors, Jose Flotte and Jon Duncan.
