Jessie Quinn passed away on August 4, 2026, in Lubbock, Texas.
Jessie was born May 10, 1927, to Estel Lee Uselton and Buna Capps-Uselton. Jessie was the oldest of two girls, her younger sister, Estella Noe preceding her in death.
Jessie graduated from Burkburnett High in Burkburnett, TX. In 1947, Jessie married the love of her life, Army man Glenn Quinn of Burkburnett and together they raised three children.
Jessie worked as the church secretary at Parkview Church of Christ for 17 years. Because of her love for the Lord and her church family, she involved herself in sharing the Word in many different ways. She taught children’s Bible studies and loved visiting shut-ins with her dear friend Barbara Chandler.
Beyond her career Jessie was an avid flower grower and a blue ribbon awarded painter. Her beautiful flowers and artwork will always be a reminder of her creative, gentle, and loving spirit. Along with the love of her hobbies, Jessie loved spending summers in the mountains of New Mexico with her family, going on nature walks, watching the wildlife and growing even more flowers.
Although Jessie’s husband of 63 years, Glenn Quinn preceded her, they are both survived by their three children, Glenn Quinn, Jr (Gayla) of Mineral Wells, TX, Stephen Quinn of Richmond, VA, and Alisa Brumfield (David) of Lubbock, TX. Jessie is also survived by her grandchildren, Deanna Brumfield-Torrez of Lubbock, TX. Nathan Quinn of Mineral Wells, TX, Joathan Brumfield of Searcy, AR, Adam Quinn of Crowley, TX. and Jessica Quinn of Fredericksburg, VA Nd ten loving great grandchildren, Caulan, Jasmine, Kaden, Brylynn, Kyndal, Kingzley, Arabella, Kaidyn, Tre and Xyon.
