Jeff Waugh, beloved son, father, brother, and friend, passed away on June 22, 2026 at the age of 45.

Jeff was born on May 21, 1981 in Odessa to Angela Powell and Jeffrey L. Waugh. He was a 1999 graduate of Permian High School and received his bachelor's from Eastern New Mexico University. Throughout his life, he was known for his kindness, strength, sense of humor, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. He had a way of making people feel seen and cared for, whether through a thoughtful phone call, a word of encouragement, or simply showing up when someone needed him most. Jeff touched countless lives through his generosity, hard work, and compassionate spirit.

Jeff enjoyed football, singing, dancing and he found great joy in spending time with those he loved. He could always bring a smile with one of his jokes or a story told in his own unforgettable way. Jeff was the kind of person who would lend a hand and try to help others. His work ethic was evident in everything he did, and he took pride in doing things well and being someone others could count on.

He is survived by his children Dionna and Davian Waugh, parents Rev. Larry and Angela Powell, siblings Crystal Graham, Shakeyah Powell, Shaborah Johnson, Jaquetta Harris and many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory forever.

Jeff was preceded in death by his sister Candance Powell, grandparents Mr. & Mrs Delmon Lyons, father Jeffrey Waugh Sr, grandmother, Helen Loudd and cousin Shenna Ray.

A celebration of Jeff's life will be held on Monday June 29,2026, at 2PM, at Crossroads 6901 TX-191 Frontage, Odessa, TX 79762. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor and remember the remarkable life he lived.

Though Jeff is no longer with us in body, his love, wisdom, and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
