Jean Forrester

Jean Maxine Forrester, 75, of Odessa, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2009, at Hospice House in Odessa.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa.

Maxine was born to Frank Burns and Jessie Marie Waddles Odom on December 19, 1933, in Featherstone, Oklahoma. She married Kenneth Don Forrester on October 24, 1949.

She is survived by her sisters Margie Shiflet of Odessa, Texas; Judy Huff of Odessa, Texas; her brother J.D. Burns of Odessa, Texas; her son Gary Forrester and his wife Nancy of the Colony, Texas; daughter, Rebecca Gunter of Odessa, Texas; five grandchildren: Sean Forrester and wife Suanne of Shanghai, China; Michelle Seals and husband Michael of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Scott Forrester and wife Ann Marie of Bedford, New Hampshire; Darrell Diebel and wife Sherry of Odessa, Texas; Annette Welch and husband Tye of Odessa, Texas; and nine great-grandchildren: Ben, Stephanie, Dustin, Seth, Katelyn, Makayla, Shane, Abby, and Mackenzie.
