Jay Edward Kasparek

Jay Edward Kasparek, 87, of Odessa was born in Seymour, Texas, November 14, 1937, to Josephine (Hostas) and Joe A Kasparek and passed away August 21, 2025, in Odessa, Texas. Jay served in the US Army in 1958 and retired from ECISD in 2011.

Jay worked hard during his life to support his family whom he loved and cherished.

Jay is preceded in death by his parents, two wives, six brothers and four sisters.

He is survived by sister, Jerry Peterson of Austin, Texas, his daughter Cindy and son Jerome of Odessa, son Kelly and wife Xiaqi of Abilene, Texas and daughter Lisa and husband Justin of Cloudcroft, New Mexico. Also survived by grandchildren, Nicole, Christina, Preston, Cassi, Elisha, Joshua, Danielle and Ian. Great grandchildren, Amanda, Elizabeth, Jesse Jay, Lennox, Luxton, Shalie, Amelia, Elliot, Cyrus, and Adyson. Great great grandchildren Soren, Arlo, and Finn Gray and extended family.
