It is with heavy hearts and immense love that we share the unexpected passing of Jackie Rogge, age 68. Jackie passed away after a long and well lived life. Jackie enjoyed his Fox news, spending time with friends, and telling old pipeline stories. He loved riding his Harley and enjoyed playing golf as often as he could. He spent many hours feeding people alongside friends with the Chuckwagon Gang over the last 30 years. He served as their Gang Boss in 2021. Jackie was a pipeline welder for the majority of his long career, ending it as a pipeline superintendent. Jackie was a proud member of the Permian High School class of 1975, never missing a High School Reunion. Jackie was always the brightest smile in the room and never met a stranger. If you had an hour or two, Jackie could keep you entertained with story after story. Jackie left a lasting impression on everyone he met, and his absence will leave a void in our lives. He will be dearly missed and always remembered.
Jackie is predeceased by his father Oscar Lee Rogge; mother, Mona Rogge; sister, Brenda Rogge Wood, and brother-in-law, Chuck McClure.
He is survived by sister Jeannie Rogge McClure and brother-in-law Milton Wood as well as other family members.
You may make a donation to the Odessa Chuckwagon Gang in his honor as an alternative to flowers. The Chuckwagon Gang will be setting up a scholarship program in Jackie’s name. Send Checks to CWG PO Box 334 Odessa, Tx 79760, or call 432-438-1525 for credit card.
