Isidoro Calzada Jr, 78, of Sanderson, TX, passed away on June 26, 2025 in Odessa, TX

 Rosary will be 10:00 am Monday July 7, 2025 at St James Catholic Church in Sanderson, TX followed by a celebration of mass at 11:00 am with the reverend Francis Njoku officiating. Burial will follow at Santa Rita Cemetery in Sanderson, TX. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Isidoro Jr was born in Sanderson, TX to Isidoro G Calzada and Elena Arredondo Calzada on May 4, 1947. He attended school in Sanderson ISD. He graduated from Angelo State University and worked in special education for 10 years. He then attained his Masters degree in counseling from UTEP. He worked as a school counselor at Santa Teresa High School in New Mexico then as the counselor for Sanderson ISD. He retired to care for his parents.

Isidoro Jr. is preceded in death by his father, Isidoro G Calzada and his mother Elena Arredondo Calzada.

Isidoro Jr. is survived by brother Danny Calzada (Lupita), sister Ana María Galindo (Victor), Reuben Calzada (Yolanda) and 3 nephews and 5 nieces and 18 grand nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to any education or special education foundation of your choice.
