Irma Mariscal Rodriguez

Irma Mariscal Rodriguez, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 20, 2025. She was a woman of remarkable strength, compassion, and love — the heart of our family and the light in every room she entered.

Born on December 23, 1955 in Pecos, Texas, Irma lived a life devoted to family, faith, and caring for others. A proud homemaker and caregiver, she poured her heart into raising her children and helping anyone in need. Her kindness, patience, strength, warmth, generosity, and gentle spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. To know her was truly to love her.

She is survived by her husband Genaro C. Rodriguez and three loving children: Genaro M Rodriguez of Odessa and devoted girlfriend Miriam Zubia of Pecos, Monica Rodriguez and husband Reynaldo Jr. of Midland, Pedro Rodriguez of Odessa and grandchildren, Kaleen and her husband Joshua Zent, Joshua, John Paul, Azael & Eliana, great granddaughter Zianah, her brothers Macario “Mac” & Oscar Mariscal and sisters Norma, Sally, Betty & Erika, along with many nieces, nephews, sister & brother in laws who loved her dearly.

Irma was preceded in death by her parents Ruben “Scotty” & Manuela Mariscal, her brother Ruben Jr., sister Gracey Ortega, and her granddaughters Reyna Rodriguez & Aaralyn Rodriguez.

Her love will live on in our hearts forever.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and faith that will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, and all those whose lives she touched.
