Gordon Ervin

Gordon Ervin, age 65, of Odessa, Texas passed away on December 22, 2021.

He was born to Jerry and Connie Ervin on June 18, 1956, in Odessa, Texas.

Preceding Gordon in death is his wife, Penny Ervin; father, Jerry Ervin; and mother, Connie Ervin of Odessa, Texas.

Gordon is survived by his daughters, Tissa Chandler and husband Shiloh Chandler, and Marcy Bates and husband Dustin Bates; grandchildren, Kristin Chandler, Dillon Chandler and wife Kayleah Chandler, Meagan Chandler, and Destanie Chandler; and great grandsons, Beau Chandler, and Ryan Chandler, along with various nieces and nephews.

Gordon attended Odessa High School and went on to be a master plumber. He led a successful career in a multitude of endeavors. He was most recently employed by Stealth Pump. He was a self-made engineer and could fix just about anything. He would give you the shirt off his back if he “liked you.”

Gordon was respected and loved by so many people. Gordon leaves behind a multitude of friends throughout Texas and the Permian Basin. He will be greatly missed.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
