(May 30th, 1973 – March 14th, 2024).

Ginger Pomroy Aylor (Resident of Midland, TX.) passed away at peace surrounded by family in Odessa Texas, on Thursday, March 14th,2024Ginger was born on May 30th, 1973, to Robert Pomroy and Deborah Rice Pomroy (Former residents of Monahans Tx.). 

Ginger's service will be a Graveside only at 1:00PM on Tuesday, March 19th, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, TX. (6801 E. Hwy 80, Odessa Tx,79762) with Reverend Dr. Bayron McWilliams Officiating.  

Ginger grew up surrounded by her loving parents, Robert Pomroy and Deborah Rice Pomroy, twin sister, Jenifer Pomroy, and younger sister of 18 months, Robin Pomroy. Ginger enjoyed spending time with many loved grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Ginger and her two sisters, Jenifer and Robin, enjoyed playing softball. Ginger and her two sisters participated in Girl Scouts (where her mother Deborah was a troop leader.) and enjoyed caring for the many animals their dad, Robert, brought home. Ginger attended Permian High School in Odessa Tx where she was on the debate team and played the oboe for the Mojo band. Ginger graduated from Permian High School in 1992. Ginger married her husband of 21 years, Brian Aylor, on June 8th, 2002. Brian and Ginger have three beautiful children: Colton Thomas Aylor (18), Weston James Aylor (17), and Sterling Deborah Aylor (9), all of whom Ginger loved very much.

Ginger worked as a General Manager at Gymboree in Midland, TX, and a salesperson at Susie's South Forty candy store in Midland, TX, and was a Sr. Recruiting Manager at Robert Half Recruiters & Employment Agency in Midland, TX, for 11+years. Ginger is best known for her homemade “Hot Mess Salsa.” Ginger spent years selling her famous Hot Mess Salsa throughout the West Texas community. Ginger was passionate about her salsa and enjoyed creating new spicy flavors. Ginger loved and appreciated the many customers and friends who supported her small business. 

Ginger was known for being personable and loud, her bubbly personality, her sense of humor, her ability always to be late, her ability to do beautiful makeup (which she loved practicing with daughter Sterling.), her amazing Halloween costumes, her lack of a filter, and her ability to cook. Ginger loved to cook for family and friends. Ginger loved everyone she ever met, developed unique. friendships, and formed special bonds with everyone who crossed her path. She had the biggest heart and always found it in her way to see the best in everyone. Ginger's soul was irreplaceable to those who knew her. Ginger was protective of her sisters and her family. Ginger continued to be beautiful, sassy, strong, BOSSY, LOUD, and full of love for her family and friends until the end.

Pallbearers: Colton Aylor, Weston Aylor, Robert Dugger, Dustin Dugger, Blake Dugger, and Remington Pomroy. 

Ginger is survived by her mother, Deborah Rice Pomroy, of Odessa, TX. Husband Brian Aylor and their three children of Midland Tx, Colton Thomas Aylor (18), Weston James Aylor (17), and Sterling Deborah Aylor (9). Ginger's twin sister Jenifer Pomroy and her four children of Odessa, TX, Paige Dugger, Robert Dugger, Dustin Dugger, and Blake Dugger. Ginger's younger sister, Robin Pomroy, and her son, Remington Pomroy of Odessa, TX. Ginger's cousin Susan Wallace of Conroe, TX. As well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.    

Ginger is preceded in death by her Father, Robert Odell Pomroy Jr., Grandparents, R.O. Pomroy Sr. Agusta Ueckert Pomroy, and Louis Pomroy. James Rice and Joanne Rice, Aunt Mary Lou Wallace, and Uncle Arlen Johnson.
