Henry (George) Couch, 87, of Odessa, Texas went to be with the lord Wednesday August 5, 2026.

George was born on July 17, 1939, to Henry Couch Sr. and Louise Shephard Couch. He was born in Harrisburg, Arkansas and spent most of his life in Odessa, Texas.

George was a skilled and respective salesman spending over 40 years in the business. He also had his real estate license for over 40 years.

He went into the Army in 1961 as a Paratrooper and received a parachutist badge.

George is preceded in death by his grandparents, his dad and mother (Louise Couch), his brother Johnny Couch, his son Michael Todd Couch.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Melinda Couch. He leaves behind his daughter Denise and Kevin Tarrant of Houston Texas and their two beautiful daughters, Hannah and Sarah Tarrant (Port Angeles, WA). His son Bryan (wife) Teresa Couch and their beautiful daughters Madeleine and Kamie Couch of Odessa Texas. Mandy Couch (wife of his son Michael Couch) and daughter Maritza Brand and children Coltten and Elena.

Also surviving, Tommy Joe and sister-in-law Anna (Lloyd Summer), Alecia (John) Howard and many nieces and nephews.

He is also survived by Rick and Vivian Couch and their two sons John Michael and Cameron Couch and their family and wonderful friends Georgia and Wilbur Hayse.
