Gary Lynn Beene

Gary Lynn Beene, 76, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2026. Born on August 31, 1949, in Odessa, Texas, Gary later moved to Longview, Texas, where he raised his family. He served his country as a member of the United States Navy in his younger years. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and playing games with his kids. He was preceded in death by his father and mother Wayland and Betty Beene as well as his older brother Sam Beene.He is survived by his wife, Sree Beene; his brother, John Beene; and his sister, Kim Swann. He leaves behind his children, Jesse Beene, Rachel Mitchell, and Derek Mitchell, as well as his grandchildren Bindi, Atticus, Ezekiel, and Jaya Mitchell. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
