Elena Gale

Elena M. Gale, 78 of Odessa went to be with the Lord on February 4, 2008. She was born February 12, 1929, the only child to Dan and Leona Hendrich in Rock Springs, WY. She will be buried on her birthday, Tuesday, February 12, 2008 next to her beloved husband, C. D. Gale who preceded her on August 31, 2002. Married for 53 years, Elena was a dedicated wife and mother. Active in her church at Odessa Tabernacle, she love the Lord and life with her husband. She is survived by her only child, Dave Lewis Gale and two grandchildren, Ashley Elena Gale and Preston Scott Gale, all of who reside in Forney, TX. In lieu of flowers, the Elena Gale Memorial Fund has been set up P.O. Box 2820, Forney, TX 75126 to benefit the staff of the wing at Parks Methodist Retirement Village, in Odessa, TX. where she spent her last years.
Funeral services will 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Doug Hergert of Odessa Tabernacle officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
