Obituary

David Dwight Cameron, 77, of Odessa Tx passed away on 8-24-26.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 27th, from 7-8 at Odessa Bible Church. Located at 3901 Penbrook in Odessa, Tx.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Friday the 28th, at Odessa Bible Church, with Bob Thayer officiating. Arrangements are by Sunset funeral home.

Dwight was born in Houston Tx to Otho and Ruby Cameron on 1-1-49. He went to Odessa High School. He married Peggy Jean Cargile on 5-26-67 in Odessa Tx. He had 2 daughters, 6 grandkids and 6 great grandkids. He loved hunting, nascar and college football. He was a butcher when he and Peggy first married then he went to OC and became a welder. He retired with FLO Co. He was a very hard worker for his family and a great example for all.

Dwight is survived by his wife of over 59 years, Peggy Cameron. Daughter Deanna Cameron-Bledsoe and husband Stacy and their 3 daughters, Kelsea & Ryan Harris (Jaxon & Maisyn) , Lindsey and Mark Whitaker (Kalani & Keelan), Mackenzie and Fiance Campbell. Amy Cameron-Joplin and Bryan and her sons Chance & Jordan Bryant (Violet & Cana), Dakota Cornutt & Hunter Cornutt. He is also survived by all of his sisters, Carmen, Sharon, Crystal and Penny.

Pallbearers will be Chance Byrant, Dakota Cornutt, Hunter Cornutt, Ryan Harris, Mark Whitaker, and Campbell Keithley
