Donna Jeanne Springer

Celebration of Life for Donna Jeanne Springer, 73, of Odessa will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Odessa Bible Church in Odessa with Pastor Ty Coke officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Odessa Bible Church.

Donna passed away June 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland from complications of Pulmonary Hypertension.

She was born on October 25, 1951, in Ft Worth, Texas. She graduated from Andrews High School in 1970 and went to Odessa College and entered the Medical Laboratory program and graduated in 1974 with an Associates Degree in Health Science. She worked as a Medical Technologist and spent 32 years working for Medical Center Hospital until retiring in 2007. Her favorite and most interesting department was Hematology. She also, spent time in the Stat Lab, but most of her years were spent in the Chemistry Lab.

Donna then spent her time with her nephews Joe and Jay, their wives and children watching in sports and school programs. She and her sister Janna were inseparable.

Donna was loved and loved everyone, but especially by her close friends Pat, Susan B, Brenda, Tom Gail E, Linda Hy, Dianne Linda D, Debbie, Susan M, Linda Ho, Gwen, Carla, Jan, Marla, Sherry, Teresa, Terry, Gloria, Manuel and Sylvia B.

Donna loved her church family and being on the Greeting and the Hospitality Team.

Donna's passion was being on a boat on any lake and fishing. She was always so excited to go on the annual water trip girls weekend. She loved gardening and going with Susan to Estate sells. She was an adopted sister to many people and their families.

Her parents Jake and Joyce Springer of Andrews preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sister Janna Kuhlmann of Odessa, her nephew Joe Dorman and wife Jacquelynn of Midland and Jayson Dorman and wife Sara of Rowlett, Tx great nephews and nieces Brady, Benji, Zoe, Brielle, Cora and Finleigh.

Thank you to all Dallas Doctors and to Midland Memorial Hospital ICU Department. All the Doctors and their teams, nurses, were exceptional, especially nurse Jessica who went beyond with her tenderness and compassion for Donna.
