Donald Eugene Klusmeyer

Donald Eugene Klusmeyer, 88 years of age, Odessa, Texas, passed away on January 9, 2026, at Madison Medical Resort.

Services will be at 10:00 AM, on January 15, 2026, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home in the Chapel with Reverend Donald Bugg officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Donald was born at Calumet, Oklahoma to Jake and Dorothy Klusmeyer on July 29, 1937. He never married. He treasured his nieces and nephews as if they were his own. He worked in the oilfields in West Texas as well as in Libya. He was a veteran and served in the United States Air Force assigned to the 3415th USAF Technical Training School at Lowery AFB, Denver, as a student in the department of flexible gunnery training.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Dorothy Klusmeyer, brother J.C. Klusmeyer, sister Wanda Williams.

He is survived by sisters, Nancy McKee, Kay Walker, and husband Joel Walker and Terri Brooker, and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Scott Klusmeyer, Joel Walker, Mason Walker, Greg Andis, Daniel Shelton and Jaxxon Andis.

Memorials may be given to American Cancer Society or the American Parkinson’s Disease Association.
