Dianne Hughes

Dianne Hughes, age 63, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2011 in Odessa, Texas.

She was born April 3, 1948 in Odessa, Texas to Ocie and Ruth Holcomb. Dianne attended Permian High School and graduated in 1966. She was a loyal legal secretary for 37 years. On January 7, 1974 she started working for the Law Firm of Shafer, Davis, OLeary and Stoker.

She was predeceased by her parents Ocie and Ruth Holcomb.

Dianne is survived by her daughter, Tracie Hughes of Odessa brother, Ronnie Holcomb and wife Patsy of Fort Worth sisterinlaw, Phyllis Holcomb of Hurst niece and nephew, Michele and John Wilson and sons Matt and Sam Wilson of Gilbert, Arizona. Dianne is also survived by her BFF Joetta Smith of Odessa.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 AM Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Chapel with Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family wishes to express their gratitude and special thanks to the staff of Texas Oncology, Jennifer and Dr. Darr, and to friends and family for their prayers, visits, food, love and support. The family suggests memorials to Hospice House, Odessa.
