Dana Sue Yandell Beazley, after a short illness, went to meet our Lord on July 15, 2025.
She was born on May 11, 1951, in Levelland, Texas to Dan Howard Yandell and Margaret Fleming Yandell.
She is proceeded in death by her parents and half-sister Lyn Brewer.
Dana is survived by her husband of 45 years, Skip Beazley; her son, Ryan Beazley and his wife, Cindy of Odessa; her daughter, Toni Jo (TJ) Underwood and her husband Cody of Odessa; two stepdaughters Stacy Battenfield and her husband Russell of Gardendale and Kathryn Kenney and her husband Weylon of Gardendale; and her sister, Joanne Miles of Odessa. She has 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and has nieces and other family and friends who will miss her greatly.
Dana graduated from Texas Tech University with a 4.0 average. She worked for the State of Texas for many years in several different capacities. She also worked as a realtor in Odessa until she retired. She was often teased about how many times she moved during her time as a realtor because she kept finding houses, she liked better than where she was living.
Dana had a flair for telling stories she made up to her grandchildren, which they immensely enjoyed. She loved traveling and was not afraid to take off on her own to foreign countries such as England, Scotland, France, Spain, and Germany. She also traveled with her sister and a friend to Italy and Ireland and again to France. She loved driving by herself or with friends to sights in the US and Canada. And made frequent trips to New England to see the changing of the leaves in the fall.
Celebration of life will be on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to High Sky Children’s Ranch.
