Connie Clark

Connie Earlene Nix Clark of Odessa, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022, in Odessa.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Arrangements are made by Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.

Connie was born in Kingsville, Texas, to Lorenzo and Lillie Nix on September 28, 1931. She was married to Donald “Sonny” Clark Sr on December 11, 1947, in Corpus Christi Texas. She worked for Prudential Insurance for over 20 years and was a member of Crescent Park Baptist Church.

Connie is preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Donald “Sonny” Clark Sr; daughter, Darla Clark; son, Donald Clark Jr, and many beloved siblings.

Connie is survived by brother, Harrell Nix; sister, Mildred Darlene Wright; granddaughters, Stacie Hastings and Lisa Garrett; along with six great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to Gentiva Hospice in remembrance of their loving care.  The family of Connie would like to extend our sincere appreciation to staff members of Home Instead and Gentiva Hospice. A special thanks to Patsy Rutledge for all the love, support and care for the past two years.
