Cindy Anderson

Cynthia Diane Anderson, age 63, of Odessa, Texas, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 2, 2022.

Cindy was born in West Carrol Parish, Oak Grove, Louisiana, to Herbert Allen Ross, and Nina Faye Hensley-Ross on November 5, 1958. Cindy was a beloved sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, niece, and friend. She always had a smile on her face and knew how to light up every room she walked in. She spent most of her time enjoying days with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed making the family Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners.

Cindy married Jimmy Dee Anderson on July 8, 1977 and created the treasure of a wonderful life of 40 years.

Cindy is preceded in death by her grandparents, Clifton Thomas Ross, Tenie Ross-Woods, Jack and Bertha Hensley; parents, Herbert Allen Ross, and Nina Faye Hensley-Ross; her husband, Jimmy Dean Anderson; and two brothers, Clifton Richard Ross and Johnny Allen Ross.

Cindy is survived by two brothers, Troy Lee Ross (Shaye) and Jeffery Lynn Ross (Elaine); sister-in-law, Diann Ross; two daughters, Kimberly Diane King (Wesley) and Shellie Dawn Anderson (Jack); one son, Jimmy Jason Anderson (Jaymi); eight grandchildren, Brittany, Lonnie, Coleton, Madison, Dillion, Amberly, Jacob, Erin, and Katie; four great-grandchildren, Braelynn, Zaylee, Brynzlee, Rusten, and one on the way; nine nieces and nephews, Laura Ann Ross, Laura Ross, Clifton Ross, LeAnn Ross, Traye Ross, John Ross, Tye Ross, Brandon Ross, and Cara Faye Ross; and one uncle, LeRoy Hensley(Glenda Sue) and numerous great nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation with family will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Memorial services will be held at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home in Odessa, Texas, at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 7, 2022, to celebrate Cindy’s life.
