Carolyn Ruth Hardegree

Carolyn Duncan Hardegree, 71, of Odessa earned her heavenly wings on November 1, 2023, in Odessa, Texas.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Carolyn was born in Des Arc, Arkansas, on December 5, 1951. She married the love of her life, James, on June 30, 1989, in Odessa, Texas. She graduated from Permian High School. She worked as a real estate agent for Donna Haynes Realty where she received the “Multi-Million Dollar” producer award.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Hardegree; son, Stephen Hutson; and her parents, Oscar J. Duncan and Ruth Montgomery Duncan.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Connie (AJ) Andrews of Odessa; sisters, Ruby Tull of Odessa, Linda (Jerry) Boruff of Abilene; grandchildren, Braelynn and Grayson Andrews of Odessa, and Byron and Taylor Hutson of Odessa; nieces and nephews, Karen Jones, Robert Brazeal, Stephanie Brazeal, Tonya Sides, Kim Clayton, and Laura Cruz; along with many other extended great-nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be AJ Andrews, Jessie Soto, Bill Jones, John Lopez, Tim Hodson, and Skylar Hodson.
