Caroline (Carrie) JoAnne Omachel Briley was born September 12, 1957, in Odessa, Texas to Frances Elizabeth Omachel and Nickolas Omachel. She attended school in Odessa. She was the youngest of five and spent her teenage years working at Dairy Queen with her family. In her adult years, she worked as an office manager and notary for Bridges Equipment for over 30 years, which became more of a family than a job, she loved everyone she worked with so deeply and dearly. Carrie was put on this earth to be a helper. She would often lend her ear or heart to anyone in need. She was always in the right place at the right time, rather it was to buy someone a meal, pay for their groceries or just lend a shoulder to cry on, she was there for people. She was a plant rescuer and loved to garden. She also opened her home to many animals throughout her years. You could always find her out in the sunshine, usually playing with her granddaughters or running around town with her daughter and grandchildren. Above all she was the best mom-mom, she loved all three grandchildren so fiercely and wild, they were her whole world.
Caroline JoAnne Omachel Briley is preceded in death by her father, Nickolas Omachel; mother, Frances E. Omachel; brother, David Omachel; sister, Rosemarie Omachel Miller.
She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Briley (Brandon Lewis); grandchildren, Cheyenne Juliette Neatherlin, Gentry Rose Neatherlin and Rhylee Dale Neatherlin; sisters, Mary Anne Hergert and Barbara Omachel Nowell; and multiple nieces and nephews.
