Britton B. Holmes, age 83, of Odessa, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2011 in Odessa.
He was born May 8, 1928 in Cottle, Texas to John Holmes and Docie Langford Holmes. He married Carolyn Suarez.
Survivors include his wife Carolyn Holmes of Odessa his daughter, Darlene Gates of Flower Mound, Texas and his son, James Holmes.
Visitation with the family will be 68 PM Friday, September 16, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home. Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with James Bishop, of Calvary Baptist Church officiating.
