Brenda Kay Laman

Brenda Kay Laman, of Midland Texas entered the loving arms of her Lord and savior Jesus Christ on April 26th, 2024.

The visitation will be on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, at Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home 6801 E. Hwy 80, Odessa, Texas 79762.

Funeral and burial services will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, May 1^st, 2024, with Pastor Jodie Beyer of Mid-Cities Church, officiating.

Brenda was born in Odessa, to Bill and Marie Carlisle on December 20, 1955. On November 8, 1977, she married the love of her life Danny Laman. They enjoyed life together for 47 loving years, pouring their wisdom into their two children, five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Danny and Brenda loved traveling, she was an avid reader and when she could she enjoyed her time visiting and cherishing her friends and family. She won the battle against breast cancer. She always wished blessings upon others and was often found by her husband praying for everyone in need.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Marie Carlisle; and brother, Eddie Noseff. 

She is survived by her husband, Danny Laman; her children, Kevin and Crystal Laman, Cody and Terri Slaugh; her sister, Patricia Bryant; and grandchildren, Austin Slaugh, MaKinsee Manzaneres, Logan, Riley and Claire Laman; and great grandchildren, Danee-Lynn, Dansie and Miles Manzaneres.

Pallbearers will be Randy Baker, David Roundtree, Robert Holley, Daniel Holley, Lewis Holley, and Allan Patton.

Flowers may be sent to Sunset Memorial in her memory. The family of Brenda wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Brenda's lifelong friends Cathy Henderson and Brenda Poynor along with her medical providers Pam Foster, PA, Toyia Bridge RN, and team.
