Billy Joe Eaton, 75, of Odessa, passed away on February 21, 2008, at Regency Hospital in Odessa. BRBRHe was born in Field Creek, Texas, on February 24, 1932, to W.M. and Lillie Eaton. He married Neva Foster on March 3, 1951, and was married for 52 years and preceded him in 2003. He then married Sue Pittman on April 16, 2005. BRBRBilly graduated from Kermit High School in 1950. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Kermit. He retired as a superintendent for Cabot Gas after 38 years and moved from Kermit to Odessa in 1997. He was a Deacon and a member of Christian Church of Odessa. He loved playing games with family and friends and going to Ruidoso. BRBRHe is survived by his wife, Sue Eaton of Odessa; son, Danny Eaton and wife, Darlene of Sonora, daughter, Cathy and husband, Donnie Pawkett of Austin, sister-in-law, Shirley Emerick of Odessa; stepchildren, Billye and Rick Farmer of Midland, Larry and Jeanie Pittman of Bridge City, Randy and Kelly Pittman of Tyler; four grandchildren, Justin and wife, Thea Eaton, Terry and husband, Kara Chaumont, Jamie and husband, Matthew Gibbons, and Brandi Pawkett; two grandchildren Zane and Elizabeth Gibbons; 13 step-grandchildren, 13 step-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. BRBRServices will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday February 23, 2008, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Clark Racca officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. BRBRAt family's request, memorials may be made to Shriner Children's Hospital. BRBRFuneral arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. BR
