Beverly Ann (Rankin) Spooner was born to Horace H Rankin and Opal (Jones) Rankin on February 15, 1935, in Midland, TX and passed away October 17, 2026 in Odessa, TX

Ann was raised on a ranch in Mullin, TX then her senior year her parents moved to Burnet, TX where she graduated. After graduation she went to Austin, where she attended Durham Business School.

Her first job was with the NYSE “Merrill Lynch Fenner & Beane. She then paw became a housewife and mother and stayed at home.

In 1973 Ann and her three children moved back to Odessa. She went to work for J.D. O’Michael Real Estate appraiser and then worked for Bud Evans Bookkeeping for a few years. In November 1980 she went to work for Lusky‘s Western Store until they closed in February 2007. She retired then for six months and decided to go back to work. She went to work for Hubbard Kelly funeral home in October 2007 as a receptionist.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Horace and Opal Rankin, sister Betty Duran

Ann is survived by her three children Cindy Thrush, Keith Spooner and wife, Debbie, Ben Spooner and wife Keyna. Five grandchildren and Eight great grandchildren.

Services will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at Crossroads Church. Burial to follow at Ector County Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at Sunset Funeral Home.
