Bertie Pearlene Parker

Bertie Pearlene Parker, 75, of Odessa, Texas passed away on May 20, 2026 in Midland, Texas.

Graveside services will be June 20, 2026 at Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home at 10:00a.m.

Pearlene was born in Monahans, Texas to William Earl Crowson and Leona Lee (Frisbie) Crowson on March 4, 1951. She graduated from Odessa High School in 1961 She held many offices in the PTA at Pease Elementary, she worked for Abbott's Oilfield Supply and Vinson Supply. Pearlene moved to Ocala, Florida where she married Bertus (Butch) Chalmers Parker on February 14, 1989. Pearlene and Butch were employed by Nobility Homes. She moved back to Odessa to help care for her aging parents. Pearlene loved her children, grand children and great grandchildren. She loved to craft and made very ornate felt Christmas stockings, complete with sequins, for each family member.

She loved to travel, the beach was her favorite destination. She loved fishing, going to the casino and antiquing.

Pearlene is preceded in death by her parents Earl and Leona Crowson and her husband Butch Parker.

Pearlene is survived by her son Eric and wife Paula Damron, Daughter Jolee and husband Scott Chizanskos, sisters Earlene and Ron Humphries, Merlene and Bill Wilson, Grandchildren Austin and wife Stacy Chizanskos, Ashley and husband Steven Adams, April Chizanskos. Great grandchildren Willow, Frankie Earl, Trinity and Brayden.

The family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at Encompass Rehab Hospital, Midland Memorial Hospital and Lanae Lopez of Hospice of Midland for all the help, love and support during her time at each facility.
