Beatrice Baeza Berzosa

Beatrice Berzosa, 60, of Odessa, Texas, passed away in her home on August 11, 2025.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Iglesia Adventista del Séptimo Día, 2680 S. Highway 385, Odessa, Texas.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 18, 2025, at Iglesia Adventista del Séptimo Día, 2680 S. Highway 385, Odessa, Texas, with Pastor Jorge Poveda officiating. The burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 6801 E. Highway 80, Odessa, Texas. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Gardens. There will not be a reception after.

Beatrice was born in Portales, New Mexico to the late Rufina Baeza Berzosa and Gonzalo Portillo Berzosa on September 20, 1964. Beatrice was a God-fearing woman who enjoyed serving the Lord. She was a loyal employee, she dedicated her life to her work where she was employed for 45 years. She was also a loyal volunteer at her church as a kindergarten sabbath school teacher for 30 years. She enjoyed spending time with family, helping those in need, being creative, shopping, and, most of all, her grandchild.

Beatrice is preceded in death by her mother, Rufina Baeza Berzosa.

Beatrice is survived by her father, Gonzalo P. Berzosa; daughter, Laura Berzosa Flores and husband Victor, and grandsons, Lucas and unborn baby Flores; brother, Jaime Berzosa and wife Dianie; sister, Diana Salazar; sister, Leticia Barrientos and husband Miguel; sister, Elena Arellano and husband Elizardo; brother, Gonzalo B. Berzosa Jr. and wife Lori; sister, Christina Mendoza and husband Antonio; 18 nieces and nephews; and 18 great-nieces and nephews.

Palbearers will be Lucas Flores, Victor Flores, Gonzalo Berzosa Jr., Jaime Berzosa Jr., Angel Berzosa, Noel Arellano, Elizardo Arellano Jr.
