Barbara Louise McLean, 87 of Midland, formally of Houston, passed away at 9:25 AM on Monday, July 4, 2011 in Midland, Texas.
She was the oldest sister of H. Eugene Abbott, born May 6, 1924 in Erie, Pennsylvania. Barbara retired from Shell Oil Company in Houston after 32 years of service.
She is survived by her brother, H. Eugene Abbott of Midland, Texas and her brother, Richard E. Abbott of Ben Wheeler, Texas, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harland Eugene and Bernice Abbott of Odessa, Texas her husband John E. McLean of Houston and her sister, Dorothy Hall of Conroe, Texas.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Father James Bridges officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
