Ann Mcguire

Ann Lamarr McGuire, 79 of Odessa Tx passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021, in Louisville, Ky.  She was born March 1, 1942, in Inglewood, Ca, to Jack and Pauline Chapman.

Ann moved to Odessa from Sweetwater Tx at age 12 where she spent the rest of her life, until moving to Louisville, Ky in 2016 to be near her daughter Liz Moore. Ann was a beloved mother and grandmother.  She was a bank teller and branch manager at Chase Bank where she retired.  She was a loving daughter providing care for her aging parents, a gardener, cake decorator, home decor expert, beloved pet owner to her 2 best friends, Chihuahua "Consuelo" and "Shih Tzu" "Minnie".  She was a member of Crossroads Fellowship Church.

Ann was preceded in death by her son, Steve Johns; mother, Pauline Chapman; and father, Jack Chapman, who fondly referred to her as "Cookie".

Ann is survived by her daughter, Liz Moore, and husband Jerry; son, Phillip Johns; grandson, Sean Alexander; granddaughter, Stevie Moore.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
