Alice Ann Vines, 80, of Austin, TX, passed away on March 15th, 2026, in Odessa, TX.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday March 27, 2026, at Pearsall Cemetery. Robert Nordhagen of The Church of Jesus of Latter-day Saints will officiate. Burial and funeral arrangements are provided by Sunset Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and Pearsall Cemetery.
Alice was born in San Antonio, TX to James and Gladys Allen on March 31st, 1945. She was married to Jack Vines on February 8, 1962, in Austin TX. She worked as a food processing Lab Technician for TryValley Growers for 15 years. She was involved in various church originations and served as the Relief Society President while living in Roda Spain.
Alice is preceded in death by her father and mother James and Gladys Allen, Ex-husband Jack Vines and her Granddaughter Taylor Vines.
Alice is survived by her four children Jackie & Robert Nordhagen, Andrea & Dave MacLellan, Mary & Ken Tincher, Jeff & Jennifer Vines. Her brothers, John and Kay Allen; James and Brenda Allen; and Tom and Theresa Allen. Her Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren Ronald & Dana Farley-Nordhagen, Julianne and Nick Magnella, Jennifer and Kole Forehand, and Jane Nordhagen. Devon & Stacie MacLellan, Emmy MacLellan Derek & Heather MacLellan, Wyatt MacLellan, Weston MacLellan, Savannah MacLellan Drew & Madilyn MacLellan, Isla MacLellan, Cree MacLellan, Beau MacLellan Amanda MacLellan Amber MacLellan Katie & Petr Pacas, Luke Pacas, Olivia Pacas. Mason & Sabryn Tincher, Halston Tincher Austin Tincher Johnathan Vines, Cody Vines.
Pallbearers will be Tom Allen, Jeff Vines, Derek MacLellan, Drew MacLellan, Mason Tincher, Ron Norhagen, Dave MacLellan and Austin Tincher.
Alice Vines family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the many doctors, nurses and hospice nurses who attended and took care of her. Also, special thanks to the staff of Madison Medical Resort for providing her care for the last 8 months of her life.
