Austin James Neiman, age 26, of Odessa, TX, passed away on October 4, 2018, in Odessa.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Don Norris of First Baptist Church Odessa, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Austin was born December 28, 1991 to Michael and Leslie Neiman in Odessa, TX. He attended the Bynum School in Midland, TX. He attended Sunday School at First Baptist Church Odessa and was cared for there by Renee Taylor, Kim Chancellor, Donella Oliver, Nelda Clark, Roxann Beaty, Judy Wilhite, and Valerie Hammitt, all of Odessa, TX.
Austin is survived by his brother, Samuel; parents, Michael and Leslie Neiman; grandmothers, Betty Neiman of Park Rapids, Minnesota and Quanah Austin, of Odessa, TX; uncle and aunt, Jim and Vera Neiman of Horace, North Dakota; great uncle and aunt, Clyde and Pat Wright of Alice, TX; adopted parents, Cruz and Oscar Sanchez of Midland, TX, and his adopted aunt Betty Gray of Odessa, TX.
In lieu of flowers, please send a memorial donation to the Bynum School, P.O. Box 80175, Midland, TX, 79708.
The family of Austin wishes to extend our sincere thanks to his dearest friends and the doctors, nurses and respiratory therapists at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, TX, who worked so very hard to try and help him get well.
The Lord give’s and the Lord takes away, blessed be the name of the LORD.
Thank you, LORD Jesus, for the gift of Austin.
