Audelia Carrasco Valencia, age 67, of Odessa, TX, was called to Heaven on Monday, March 5, 2018 in Odessa.

Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 pm, Friday, March 9, 2018 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Father Chavez, officiant. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A reception will follow burial at St. Anthony’s Hall.

Audelia was born August 18, 1950 to Edmundo L. Carrasco and Gloria Herrera Carrasco in Colorado City, TX. She attended school in Odessa, TX and graduated from Ector High School. She married Augustine Valencia, Jr.

Audelia enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She loved to cook and her kitchen was always open for hungry family and friends. Her passion was church and family. She made it her mission in life to keep the family together after her parent’s died. She tried to keep the traditions going. She would always say her greatest accomplishment was her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren.

Audelia is preceded in death by her parents, Edmundo and Gloria Carrasco and her brother, Edmundo Jr. “Eddy”.

She is survived by her husband, “Guero” Valencia; her children, daughter, Lisa and her husband, Eddie Camerena, son, Alfred Tucker, daughter, Jessica Lyle; step children, Augustine Valencia III, Christy Valencia and Derek Valencia; sisters, Mary Carrasco, Pat Chavez, Rosemary Martinez and Estella Carrasco; brother, Albert Carrasco; grandchildren, Joshua Tucker and his wife, Michelle, Matthew, Christian and Daniela Camerena, Alexandra and Nathan Tucker, Brooke, Jacob and Jesse Lyle; great grandchildren, Abriana, Joshua and Jax Tucker.

Pallbearers are as follows: Anthony Ramirez, Joe Chavez, Jr., Jason Carrasco, Albert Carrasco, Jr., Zachary Carrasco and Mathew Camerena.
