Scott Arlen Morris, Sr was born July 4th, 1931 in Marvin, Tx to Otha Revis Morris and Minnie (Childers) Morris. His momma, Edith Morris, raised him. He passed away October 10, 2017.

He moved all over during service including Ft. Worth, New Mexico, Hawaii, Morocco, and later settled in Midland, Texas. Scott Morris was a Korean and Vietnam War veteran and retired in 1970. Having served his country for 20 years as an air police Master Sergeant. He later had a janitorial business as well as a mowing service. However, his greatest job was raising his three sons.

Scotty married the love of his life, Patsy Adams on February 25, 1984 in Andrews, Tx. They had 33 years of fun and happiness. Scotty never met a stranger! He was the first person to come help when a friend needed it. He always had time to sit and drink coffee and talk your ear off. He was the best Husband, Father, Papa, Brother, Uncle and friend to everyone. Scott always had a smile on his face. He never missed many of the grandkids sporting events, horse shows, or school functions. His greatest adventure was going on the Permian Basin Honor Flight in September of 2015. He truly enjoyed getting to see our nations capitol and being a part of the memorials in honor of American soldiers. This was a trip he would never forget.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Margie Ann Glover, and son, Richard Morris.
