Charles Dean Jackson, age 78 passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Hospice House in Odessa.
He was born November 28, 1933 in Lamb County, Texas to Roy Jackson and Iona Riggles Jackson. He graduated high school from Littlefield, Texas. He married Dorothy Wilson on July 20, 1959 in Odessa. He spent two years at Texas Tech and worked as an electrician. He owned B&J Electric. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army.
He was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy “Dot” Jackson of Odessa; his daughters Sherry Thomas and Melody Williams both of Odessa; his sister, Rosie Lee Hood of Ruidoso, New Mexico; two grandchildren, Michelle Richardson and husband Clint of Midland and Kenny Thomas of Odessa; two great grandchildren, Kelby Hough of Lubbock and Ragan Richardson of Odessa and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be 6-8 PM Friday, July 6, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Greg DeArmond officiating.
