Linda Darlene Jackson, age 61, went to her home in Heaven on Friday, June 29, 2012 in Plano, Texas.
She was born on July 28, 1950, in Odessa, to Elmo and Anita Anderson. She married Charles Jackson on May 31, 1968 in Odessa. Linda worked amany years for Acosta Brokerage, but devoted her life to being a wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and great-aunt. She loved her family and extended family deeply, and she will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents Elmo and Anita Anderson.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Charles Jackson of Clyde; son, Brian Jackson & wife Kristi of Lubbock; brothers, Buster Anderson of Odessa, and G.A. Anderson of Kingsland; sister, Deloris Curry of Wilmington, NC; grandchildren, Zach, Abbie and Preston Jackson of Lubbock.
Visitation with the family will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home. Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. on Friday, July 6, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Chapel with Jerry Huggins officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
