Claude Ray “Pete” Drennan, age 74, of Odessa, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2012 in Odessa.
He was born July 26, 1937 in Spur, Texas to Claude Paris Drennan and Mildred Aline Gregory Drennan. He married Bettie Sue Roberts on February 14, 1959 in Spur, Texas. He was retired from the oil industry. He was a Master Mason, a member of H.A. McFarland Lodge #1338 and an ordained deacon of Midessa Heights Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his mother, Aline Gregory, his father and step-mother, Claude and Dorthea Drennan, and his sisters, Conneye Martin and Melba Jean Edwards.
Survivors include his wife, Bettie of Odessa, his daughters, Mary Ann Drennan of Midland, Margaret Drennan of Midland, and Patti Moehring of Odessa; a granddaughter, Allie Moehring of Odessa; a sister, Lynda Brewster of Ocalala, Nebraska; two brothers, Terry and Sharon Drennan of Morton, Texas and Royce and Hellen Drennan of Sudan, Texas and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Midessa Heights Baptist Church with Tony McCrohan officiating. Masonic graveside rites will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to the Building Fund at Midessa Heights Baptist Church, 13200 West County Road 124, Midland, Texas, 79765.
