Bettie Jean Brazelton, age 85, of Odessa, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Parks Methodist in Odessa.
She was born June 14, 1926 in Coles County, Illinois to Ira Hawn and Lucy Hawn. She married Jewell Brazelton on March 3, 1945 in Mattoon, Illinois. He preceded her in death on August 30, 2001.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Page and husband Gary of Odessa; her son, John Brazelton and wife Nancy of Aurora, Colorado; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be 5-7 PM Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday, June 8, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. David Miller of Crescent Park Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
