Oscar Rex Miller, age 87, passed away Monday, February 1, 2010 in Crane, Texas.

He was born April 17, 1922 in Commanche County, Texas to Eddie Thomas Miller and Lena Elizabeth Ross. He grew up in Commanche County and married Florence Verdell Frazier on December 26, 1945 in Commanche. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Verdell Miller of Odessa; his son, Paul James Miller of Odessa; a daughter, Hazel Dell Mauldin of Odessa; a brother, Homer Miller of Tulsa, Oklahoma; a sister, Thelma Supina of Bridgeport, Texas; two grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be 6-8 PM Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home. Memorial services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Cory Ward, of Grace Baptist Church, officiating.
